ANOTHER MERRY BERRY MELODY

Tonite I used 4 different patterned papers and 3 brads for the Incy Wincy challenge and the sketch from the May card challenge over at Scrapbook.com.

Here's the sketch:

I just love the colors in this SEI Berry Melody collection so I ended up creating another Christmas card.

I am also entering this in Party Time Tuesday challenge #171 Polka Dots.

I was hoping to get another card done before bed but as it is now after 2am I think I had best be getting to sleep.  Tomorrow is another day.

WITH WINGS

FALL MAY BE UPON US BUT SUMMER SAYS HELLO!

All I got done tonite was one card.  I was looking forward to going to an all day crop tomorrow in Marland but my scrapping buddy has the flu and my throat is pretty raw and I've been sneezing like crazy all day.  So instead we will both be home nursing our illnesses and hopefully at least doing a tad of creating. I really enjoyed using the inspiration photo from the SEI Lifestyle blog along with Sketch #DS127 from Deconstructing Jen and some twine for challenge #146 at Party Time Tuesday, Colorful Creations Creative Card Challenge and T is for Twine at The Alphabet Challenge Blog.

Here is the Inspiration photo:

From the inspiration photo I chose to use the colors (and the SEI On the Coast collection).  The colors in this range of papers was simply perfect for this challenge.  And then I mimiced the crab with a fussy cut flower that I inked the undersides of with Distress Ink in Ripe Persimmon. Next I fussy cut a leaf to resemble the top of the pineapple. I kept both of these only tacked in their centers to give dimension.   Last I looped twine all around the sides and added a twine tied button to the flower center and stamped the sentiment 'HELLO' at the bottom

Happy Monday!  Tonite I am working on cards.  The first one I created was for challenge #245 at Flutterby Wednesday using a sketch and butterflies.  I used the color palette from Party Time Tuesdays PTT125 and the repeating shape circles for Shopping Our Stash challenge #106 Geometric Shapes.  Also submitting this one to Word Art Wednesday challenge #85 Anything Goes  and Colorful Creations Creative Monthly Project Using Shapes.

Tonite I decided to work on some thank you cards with my challenges.

Card #1 was done using inspiration from the color palette at Color Throwdown as well as Tuesday Throwdown's use of fall colors and Try it on Tuesdays with lots of layers.
