WORKING ON THE SEASON

Here is a Thanksgiving card I created using Mojo Monday sketch #319.  I am also entering this card into the Love to Create challenge #91 Thanksgiving/Thanks and There She Goes challenge TSG233 Thanks/Thanksgiving and Colorful Creations Theme Park challenge for the theme Delightful.  I find humor delightful and feel this card is surely humorous.

In honor of this special occasion we all created birthday themed projects.  We create all of our projects using scraps from prior projects.

For the first one I chose the color palette challenge TPE212 from The Pink Elephant.

I felt that the papers I chose gave a masculine feel to it so rather than a flower I chose to embellish it with a gear and a clock.

ONLY ONE TONIGHT

I was only able to complete one layout tonight but it was out of my comfort zone and it turns out I am pretty happy with it.  I started it for Random Wednesday on the Colorful Creations .  I used twine for Critter Sketch challenge #155 Use Twine, Kaboodle Doodle #162 - 3 Dimensional, There She Goes #198 Color Challenge - several shades of green, Pink Elephant TPE190 Happy St. Patrick's Day - use the color green, Shabby Tea Room #157 - Oh So Pretty in Pink, Whoopsi Daisy Buttons or Bows (or both!) and Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes #70.

PRETTY IN PINK

For my final creation for today, I used sketch #195 from There She Goes, pink and gems for challenge #139 at the Crazy Challenge, and it's so girly for the challenge over at Whoopsi Daisy.

Just a card before I sleep...

I managed to sneak in one card tonight after spending hours on the phone with tech support trying to get my printer fixed.  I used orange, papers from my scrap basket and a velvet ribbon I've had forever for Use it Tuesday, Thankful for Scrappy Moms and a sketch from There She Goes.

I have 3 cards to share with you tonite.  The first is a Thinking of You card created for Love to Create Challenges using a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday and some handmade flowers for Crazy Challenge and texture in my embossed background and flowers centered with rhinestones for Divas by Design.

My second card uses no patterned paper as called for in the There She Goes challenge #175 and Fab N Funky #141, and the color palette from My Time Made Easy.  I used some lace, ribbon and a flower as well as a Crafters Workshop Template and Distress Ink.

MISSED THE DEADLINE... :(

But I decided I would share it anyway.  I found another new site and they had a great sketch.  I had a question about the directions as it mentioned something about circles (they never deleted the prior challenge info) and I was busy when I found out that was the case.  Tonite I was looking over my open challenge list and went to see when this was due.  My computer showed 5 more hours so I sat down to create this card... I hadn't refreshed the page and when I got back there the collection was closed...but here it is anyway...  The sketch is from There She Goes:
