A QUICK SHARE

.....before I head off to bed.

I created this layout for Brandy's NSD Recipe challenge over at A Cherry on Top.  It called for selecting items of a pizza that were then converted to scrapbooking items.

My choices were:

Crust - deep dish = cardstock and pattern paper
Sauce - marinara = use a sketch or a template
Toppings - pepperoni = bling

                  black olives = buttons
                  Italian sausage = alpha stickers
                  white onions = washi tape

The crust will be obvious.

I got my sauce over at Scrap Africa - it's their sketch #50.

Here's my take -

pepperoni & black olives

Italian sausage & white onions

I hope you have enjoyed sitting back and enjoying a slice of my pizza! The plan is to be back tomorrow with more creations for you!

All comments greatly appreciated.

LOOK HOW THE MONTH GOT STARTED -

On April 1 Scrapping Everyday Miracles opened up with three wonderful challenges.  First there was a card sketch -

My sample -

Next was the layout sketch -

and my sample -

and theScripture inspiration this month is-

Acts 4:33  With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all...

Next I created a page for 'The Exorcist' challenge #FS2S4, using this movie poster for inspiration -

plus the following criteria-
Added Criteria
1pt = black card stock for background
2pts = White Title
3pts = Window/s
4pts = Street Lamp

and with that I created this layout
for a total of 6 points - (no street lamp)

On April 3 I cooked up a layout using the recipe over at Soul Scrappers for challenge #CUCC40 - Spring. You were to select at least 4 items from the following criteria-

1. flowers... a photo or just flowers
2. patterned paper
3. die cuts
4. washi tape
5. butterflies
6. border punch
7. journal tag
8. wooden flourishes

I chose to use flowers both in the photos and as embellishments, patterned paper background, die cut butterflies, washi tape on the sides opf the border mats, butterflies in the photos, stamped and die cut and on the embossed border, and a border punch.

Hope that you have enjoyed seeing all my creations.  All comments greatly appreciated.

FINALLY ANOTHER!

Before heading off to bed I decided to try and do a layout.  I chose November Sketch #1 from Let's Get Sketchy and the Fashion Recipe from the My Scraps and More Fashion/Design Pinterest crop challenge.  I am also entering this in the Creative Monthly Project challenge on Colorful Creations.  The challenge called for using bling - which I used a strip of red bling down the right hand side.

Here's the sketch:

Here's the Pinterest Inspiration:

colors: Red, Black, Grey, and White
Rugged Jeans- Distress on your page
Jewelry- Add Bling

And finally - my layout:

and now I'm off to bed!  Thanks for stopping by!
