IT'S LOOKING A LITTLE BIT LIKE CHRISTMAS!

I started my first Christmas 2014 layouts with this sketch from Stuck?!Sketches.

I chose the quote 'tis the season to be jolly' for QC44 over at Soul Scrappers.

and I created the double circles in the layout with some twine for Sketches4All Stacy H-W Stash Challenge

Here is my layout -

And here are a few more close-ups of some of the other details for your viewing -

and here is my son sporting the hat I made for him - over December I got very little paper crafting done as I was busy with Loom Knitting...one of my latest hobbies!

Thanks for stopping by.  I will have lots more of Christmas to share as well as getting back to our 2003 Civil War Re-enactment photos!

SEEING RED!

No don't worry...I'm not angry...I just did the DT challenge over at Sketches4all.  There is a layout sketch and a card sketch.  You can create something for Valentine's Day or just use the color red.  Here I did the layout sketch and used the color red.

The Sketch -

and here is my layout -

I used a base of red cardstock and lots of red accents.

I also am entering this in Soul Scrappers challenge MM2 Horton Hears a Who.  For this challenge you needed to use this quote from the movie -

'A persons a person no matter how small!'

The photos are of me at about 18 months old and the quote runs around the lower left corner.

I hope that you have enjoyed this blast from the distant past!

I also plan to do the card sketch at Sketches4all and a few more of the movie challenges from Soul Scrappers so keep coming back!
