I'm a GINGER SNAP GIRL Blog Hop - Day 2

For today's project I created a pink friendship card.  I started with Coredinations raspberry/pink cardstock and a Cuttlebug Embossing folder.  I sanded it down and put it aside.  Next I took a 5x7 blank card and Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pink Raspberry and blended ink on the edges.  I took a white sheet of cardstock and stamped my message with the same distress ink and blended the ink along the edges.  I tied some Doodlebug Twine around it and added a Petaloo pink flower with a beaded center.  I attached the white to the embossed sheet and then attached them to the card base and Voila!

I decided to make a birthday card for my project. I used American Crafts paper (both sides!), the Cuttlebug Birthday Embossing Folder, distressed this section using a distressing tool and a sanding block and then added some American Crafts Dear Lizzy Banner Ribbon.

Ginger Snap Scraps Grand Opening Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Ginger Snap Scraps Grand Opening Blog Hop!

Ginger Snap Scraps is owned by Cori Wagner, a stay at home mom who has been scrapbooking, card making and rubber stamping for 15 years!

Ginger Snap Scraps carries Cricut Cartridges always for $35 and under. They have popular brands such as My Mind's Eye, Tim Holtz, Copic, Doodlebug Design, The Twinery, Bella Blvd, Graphic 45, La La Land, Little Yellow Bicycle, Riley & Co., Peachy Keen, and any more!

Many wonderful ladies have created projects to show case some of the brands that are available in the store.

I decided on a simple mono-chromatic birthday card for my project. I started with a 5x7 base card and covered it with aqua cardstock. Then I took the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder and used another piece of the aqua cardstock. I distressed and inked the edges and the embossing with Versa Magic Chalk Ink Turquoise Gem. Then I took Carribean Blue twine and wrapped it around the card 3 times in each direction. In the center I put the aqua flower brad from American Crafts Flower Shoppe. Inside I stamped the sentiment "May all your Dreams come true" in Turquoise Gem.
