Thank you Anna...

of http://annabeedesigns.blogspot.com/ for awarding me The Liebster Blog award.

So now I get to pass it on to 5 other people.

Here are the rules:
  • Choose 5 up and coming blogs of fewer than 200 followers to award the Liebster to.
  • Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them. If you are not a follower of theirs, that might be a nice way to show appreciation for the award.;)
  • Post the award on your blog. Link back to the blogs you have given the Liebster to so everyone else can pay them a visit.
I will be choosing my 5 blogs as soon as I get a tad more settled in my new life in Delaware!  I am up to my eyeballs in boxes and bags right now but promise to come back and do this ASAP!

WOW!!! 2012 is going to be an awesome scrappy year

if this is any indication!

I won a challenge at Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium for one of my 12 cards I did for the Tim Holtz 12 Days of Christmas...then I won a $10 gift certificate to Paper Secrets for the Use Your Stash challenge and then today i found out that I had won the 4th Quarter Super Scrapper on Colorful Creations!

I am so excited and so thankful to these wonderful sites and will look forward to using all the goodies after I get settled in our new apartment in Delaware!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012!

Wishing all my followers a year filled with health, happiness, prosperity and all of God's blessings.  I am preparing for a big move to Delaware for the start of my 2012.  This is the biggest move I have ever made and I will be doing it with my children in tow so it will be an interesting adventure.  We are barely prepared and only have 2 weeks so please say a prayer that we will start from today getting really serious about getting ready to go.

On the scrappy end of things, today my first challenge of the New Year posted at Colorful Creations.  Please come and check it out.  Here is the page I created for it by re-purposing and recycling unusual materials:
For the banner I used packing twine and soup can tabs.  I matted my photos with packagain material and the hearts and photo corners were made with a tea cozy.  Now put on your thinking caps and go make a layout using something that you have recycled or re-purposed.  It can be a lot of fun!
