Tonight I chose another photo from our afternoon at Ridley Park along with the sketch of the week from Scrapbook News and Reviews Blog.
I chose several different fall colored patterned papers and some Distress Inks Walnut Stain Ink which I used on all the edges as well as randomly all over the finished layout.
Here is the sketch:

There are still more photos from Ridley Park so be sure to follow along this week to see the others.
I'm Paula, an avid scrapbooker with 2 nearly grown sons. I have been scrapping for about 17 years & decided that I would like to share my love & talents for it with others. I created 'Precious Pages by Paula' to do exactly that. There is a line of pre-designed scrapbooks & frames, as well as doing custom one-of-a-kind albums with your photos. Cards are prayerfully made in the hopes of carrying special blessings to their recipients.

HELLO FRIEND!
Tonite I decided to make a note card for a friend back in NJ that I haven't heard from in awhile. I used a sketch from the SNR blog and an idea for a pocket I had gotten when doing a challenge over at Colorful Creations. I started by using Distress Ink to make a background in shades of blue. I used the same colors to ink a shipping tag to use as an insert. I rotated the sketch horizontal and made the block on the front (which I embossed and sanded) into a pocket. I inserted a tag with a message and the inside of the card is blank so I can write a letter.
Here is the sketch:

Off to write my letter so the postman can pick it up tomorrow and send it on it's way!
