TODAY'S CREATIONS AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY THOMAS!

Today I did 2 cards.  The first is for my wonderful Pastor, Barbara Auer of Kingswood United Methodist Church in Newark, DE.  

I used sketch #177 from Sunday Sketch and Stamp, and the color palette PPA174-A from Pals Paper Arts.

And the next card is for my son Thomas' 15th Birthday!  I used sketch #255 from Unscripted Sketches.  I used a music theme as he is an awesome guitarist.

A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING

Today I have a lot to share with you as I never got around to doing a blog post yesterday.  First I will start with some cards.

The rest of my creations are for the blog challenge at Kraftie Kreations.  It called for using this sketch to create both a card and a layout:

For my card I rotated the sketch 1/4 turn clockwise.  Here's my card:

and then you also needed to create an altered item.  This is going to be part of the desk set I am creating for Michael for his birthday.  It started out being a clear acrylic napkin holder.  It is now a file folder holder:

STARTING OFF SATURDAY!

For my first creation today I chose to make a birthday card for Papercraft Star, the word Birthday for Say It with Words on Colorful Creations, using the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp, a sentiment for Whoopsie Daisy, some bling for Kaboodle Doodles, some twine for Love to Create, and pink and black for Fussy and Fancy.

THREE IN A ROW!

My last card for the evening is another triple play.  I used sketch #144 and a sentiment stamp for Sunday Sketch and Stamp.  I used a metal bird for the challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow and the colors White, Black and my choice Red for CFC90 at CAS-ual Friday.

Just finished up working on a birthday card that takes in several challenges...

I used Pretty Palette #80 over at My Time Made Easy


Francesca's Sketch #142 over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp

Some square metal brads for the Use Metal Challenge at Critter Sketch Challenge and I made it a Birthday card for challenge #84 Wish Big over at My Craft Spot and Anything Goes #65 at Word Art Wednesday.

Here's My Heart

Now is the season of Love.  Valentine's Day is nearly upon us.  So for tonite I gathered up my recent challenges and created a Valentine.  For The Pink Elephant Challenge #TPE184 I needed to use a heart.  For the Shabby Tea Room I needed to use buttons and this color combo:


I used this sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp:


For the Cuttin and Stampin Blog I needed to make a Valentine card using a stamp.

SANDY HITS GROUND

but so far we are doing ok and still have power.  I have been working away on a few Christmas cards and decided it was time to share them in case we do have an outtage.
