A QUICK LITTLE POST

I am going to be busy working on a wedding present for the rest of the evening so I thought I would post my recent layout and the card for the wedding now.

The layout is for the Guest Designer Sketch over at Colorful Creations and the Button It Up challenge #137 on Party Time Tuesdays.  The buttons are the star flowers on the lower left.  I rotated the sketch 1/4 turn clockwise.  I used photos from my recent visit to Rockwood Mansion.

WITH SYMPATHY...

It has been a sad week this week.  The husband of one of my online friends passed away after a long illness just when they discovered what was causing the illness and we expected him to recover and my next door neighbor died suddenly and unexpectedly of a massive heart attack.  So tonight I have been working on my sympathy cards...

The first uses a sketch by Tuesday Morning Sketches.

The next one uses the sketch from Pal's Paper Arts.

GET WELL RON

Today I needed an encouraging get well card for a man.  Sometimes I have difficulty with masculine style cards - you don't want them too frilly or flowery or too pink. I found the perfect sketch to work with at Pals Paper Arts and I set about picking some masculine style papers and an uplifting verse.

Here is the sketch:

and here is my card:

I hope that you enjoyed looking at the card and I hope that Ron will find it inspiring and get on the road to recovery.
