A FEW CARDS

Last night I was able to complete 3 cards for a variety of challenges.  Here they are:

First up is one that was inspired by #216 Tic Tac Toe challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room.

I chose to do the bottom horizontal row which included gingham, flowers and vintage trims. (The lace is vintage found in the attic of my last church in NJ.)

I used card sketch #5 from Scrapbook.com which I rotated 1/4 turn clockwise.

I am also entering this in Paper Shelter challenge #156 Use That Ribbon! (the center stripes are ribbon as well as the tiny roses and bows) and The Crazy Challenge #170 It's all about the Stripes!

Here is card #1-

For my second card I chose card sketch #4 from Scrapbook.com.

I am also entering this in Try it on Tuesday Springtime theme challenge and Paper Pretties PWC308 Springtime theme challenge.

Card #2-

and last I used sketch #343 from Mojo Monday which called for a tall and skinny card, Lots of Layers for challenge #17 over at My Mum's Craft Shop, the color palette from Scrapbook.com card challenge category #1 and Anything Goes challenge #130 at Word Art Wednesday.

AUTUMN

Here is a layout I created last night.  I started out using sketch #24 from 2 Broke Girls.  I used 3 types of embellishments that start with B (Borders, buttons and brads) for challenge #157 at the Crazy Challenge and the theme of Autumn for The Theme Park challenge on Colorful Creations.

Here is the sketch (which I rotated 1/4 turn clockwise)

and here is my layout:

I hope you have enjoyed this little bit of Autumn inspiration.  I promise to be back again later today with another!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  All comments lovingly enjoyed and appreciated!

MORE OF HAGLEY

Last night I was able to complete two more layouts using photos from my trip to Hagley Museum.  The first page is at the entrance to the museum.  I selected the Guest Designer Sketch - Natasha on Colorful Creations and I am also entering it into The Crazy Challenge #151 Anything Goes and in Scrapbook.com One Pic Challenge.

This is the sketch:

And here is my layout:

And my next page are more photos from the workshop.  I chose another sketch from Colorful Creations Member Spotlight Kerri West. I am also entering this in The Pink Elephant challenge #TPE211 Texture.  I selected a background page from Cosmo Cricket Core Impressions Classics Collection.  The paper has a wonderful texture and was embossed.  First I sanded it, then I inked it and added several different shades of Perfect Pearls.  I also added an embellishment made using one of my favorite Sizzix Embossing Folders. This was also inked and had several layers of Perfect Pearls.

Here is the sketch:

And here is my layout:

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have enjoyed a bit more of my day at Hagley.  There will be several more to follow hopefully over the next few days and weeks!
