Today I decided to share a layout. I had gone into my fall section to select papers and loved this batch - surprised to find purple being as prominent as it was. I rarely think to include purple in the Autumn colors but I'm guessing it is because it is so popular for Halloween - an Autumn holiday. The photos I chose were from a trip to Franklin Institute in Philadelphia several years ago. I used this week's Colorful Creation's Guest Designer Sketch turned 1/4 clockwise. Here is the sketch:

THROWING DOWN SOME COLOR!

I loved the colors for this week over at Color Throwdown Blogspot challenge #207.   I had some wonderful Distress Inks that would work if I muted them a bit.  I inked up my page, covered it all with gesso and then stenciled again on top with the same ink colors.  I had some complimentary patterned paper and I added a flower and a sentiment.  Hope you like it!
