I decided that I wanted to play with some different household items that were laying around in my art area. After my usual coat of gesso base I covered the page with soft gel medium and started adding bits and pieces of book pages, embossed and debossed paper, coffe cup holder, tissue paper, crinkle paper, buttons, chipboard, rubber mat shelf liner and lace ribbon.
Next I will coat this with gesso and then think about my color scheme a bit and what I might want to say on it when I am through.
and now to start playing with colors and mediums. My first layer of color was done with various types of ink.
Next came a layer of acrylic paints, dimensional and stickle paints and of course more gesso!
and finally my quote which I added with a variety of different letter stickers and topped off with some matte gel medium as they were not sticking well to all the fabulous texture.
I hope that you have enjoyed stopping by.
Tomorrow I plan to get back to working on some layouts and cards.
Now this is right up my alley!! Woohoo! Love the colors & your sentiment!! Very encouraging!
